## Test 1: Progressive Overload and Adaptation

## Test 2: Intensity Distribution

## Test 4: Monitoring Training Load

- RPE is a subjective rating, and that is its strength: it captures stress from sleep, heat and life that objective measures miss. (Source: General coaching / sports science reference)

## Test 5: Recovery as Training

- It is a diagnosis of exclusion, which is why a medical review comes first. Low energy availability is the differential that most often explains an endurance athlete presenting this way. ## Test 8: Specificity and Transfer

- The central circulatory system serves the whole body, so it carries across disciplines; peripheral and neural adaptations stay where they were trained. (Source: General coaching / sports science reference)
